I saw Ann last night at the 25th year reunion for class of 84. She mentioned your website (I will have to poke around later) and she thought you'd like to hear from me. Our conversation quickly turned to which teachers had influenced us over the years, and of course you were foremost in my mind. Of all the teachers I've had over the years, the one who most influenced who I am, not who I was as a student, but who I was as a person, was you of course. I wish my son would find a teacher who sees the greatness in him the way you did in me. I'm afraid he never will -- with the barriers that have been put up between educators and their students these days, I'd be surprised if he is invited to meet an educator's parents as I did yours, way back when we went to Bish Bash Falls. Maybe he will surprise me -- you'd be amazed at how similar this 13 year old looks and acts like me. But I doubt that he'll enjoy the special relationship that you and I shared. So, we'll catch up later on all that has transpired since 1980, but just know that you are loved and revered, and all your effort was worth it. It stuck, and I am a better person (and photographer!) because of you. God bless and be well.

You have captured the soul of this little fellow (or girl). I love the way he looks right into the camera; beautifully done. Judy
