“Sunrise Photography”
Observing sunrise is like greeting an opportunity for new beginnings. Here in Lyons, sunrise during the fall is spectacular. When metering the sunrise in landscape photography, place your meter on a spot in the sky that is not the brightest dynamic. It is also a good idea to bracket your exposures. Nature photography provides many opportunities to experience light. In fact, it seems as though nature photographers are always chasing the light.

Of course, I love the sunrise photos too but there is this older photo of the ewe that seems innocent and fresh. I remember when Bob and I hiked the Grand Canyon last November, I was fortunate to see two bighorn sheep – it was rutting season – they had the whole canyon to gaze upon and play in. Ohhh my it was beyond words to be there with them.
