“Nature’s Paintbrush”

How about this color in the middle of winter? This is the first in a series of “3″ sunset nature photographs taken last night. The color was glorious and magical. Of course, it made me wonder. If nature can create this color palette, what is our own creative capability? If I had a paintbrush each day to create my own canvas, my own world, what would it look like? If my thoughts and compassion directed each brush stroke, what could I create in my life and in my world? “Maroon Bells”

I always wanted to visit Maroon Bells outside Aspen, CO. This fall I achieved my goal with a wonderful visit. The aspens were beautiful and the mountains spectacular. With this particular image, I used a polarizer to bring out the color of the aspens and the blue sky. Enjoy!

“Buying Inspirational Nature Photography with a personal touch”

I think that PeacemakersArt.com is unique in its approach to purchasing art as it allows the buyer to personally contact the artist for discussion. By doing so, I can meet specific needs for the buyer as special orders. For example, recently someone called me to ask for a specific print with a healing affirmation printed on it as a gift for someone who was to experience very serious surgery. Welcome to PeacemakersArt.com. My name is Veronika Gaia and I am a nature photographer, teacher and writer. I sell fine art prints, motivational posters, and inspirational note cards. As you review my blog, I am hoping that you will find the categories interesting, informative and unique.

As a photographer, I am inspired by nature and would love comments about my work and vision of the world. Also, I am hoping that there will be conversations about your favorite photography topics.
As a writer, I believe in human potential and respect for diversity and would enjoy feedback concerning my inspirational writings.
